What Is the Sea Hunt Boat Warranty?
New Sea Hunt boats include two primary forms of limited manufacturer coverage:
Ten-Year Hull Limited Warranty: Sea Hunt warrants the hull against qualifying structural defects in fiberglass material and fiberglass workmanship under normal recommended use for ten years from delivery to the original purchaser.
One-Year Limited Warranty: Sea Hunt warrants the boat against qualifying defects in Sea Hunt-supplied materials and workmanship under normal recommended use for one year from delivery to the original purchaser.
The one-year limited warranty is not transferable. The remaining term of the ten-year hull limited warranty may be transferred to the second owner when the required Sea Hunt warranty-transfer form is completed and filed within 15 days of the transfer. Conditions, exclusions, transportation responsibilities and claim-approval requirements apply.
The hull warranty is structural coverage; it does not mean that every cosmetic condition or every item installed on the boat is covered for ten years. The written Sea Hunt warranty excludes or limits certain matters, including specified cosmetic gelcoat conditions, accident damage, neglect, unauthorized repairs, trailer-related damage and equipment not manufactured by Sea Hunt.
