1996 Mako 282 Center Console – Completely Refit in 2017 and Ready to Fish
The 1996 Mako 282 Center Console is a legendary offshore fishing platform, renowned for its rugged construction, exceptional ride, and uncompromising fishability. This particular example has undergone an extensive refit that has transformed her into a modern, turn-key fishing machine while retaining the proven hull that made the Mako 282 an icon among serious anglers.
Power comes from twin 2017 Suzuki 200 HP four-stroke outboards, providing reliable, fuel-efficient performance. The refit also included new gauges and controls, an upgraded steering system, modern navigation electronics, new cushions, refreshed hull hardware, and hull paint, ensuring both functionality and appearance have been brought up to today's standards.
Always stored indoors during the winter months, this Mako has received the care and attention that is evident throughout the vessel. Whether you're heading offshore in search of tuna, chasing striped bass along the coast, or enjoying a day cruising with family and friends, she offers the performance, durability, and versatility that have made Mako one of the most respected names in center console boats.
The owner has relocated and is motivated to sell, making this an excellent opportunity to purchase a comprehensively updated offshore fishing boat. Reasonable offers will be considered.
